The benefits of a Guest or Student/Candidate membership allow you to receive Society event updates and other mailings and to attend Society events at the member rate. However, it does not permit voting on Society business.

Note: If you meet the qualifications to become a Regular or Affiliate Member of the Society, you must apply to the CFA Institute to become an official member of the Society.  Membership information and criteria for Regular and Affiliate member types can be found at CFA Institute.

Student/Candidate Membership is open to current CFA Candidates, as well as, to students currently enrolled in a Graduate program in finance or economics at an accredited university in the greater Washington, D.C. area. No sponsors are required.

Guest Membership is available to all others interested in receiving notifications of and participating in CFA Society of Washington, DC events. No sponsors are required.
